SmartRecruiters is part of SAP. SmartRecruiters is now SAP’s next-generation talent acquisition solution. SAP completed its acquisition of SmartRecruiters in September 2025. SmartRecruiters also continues to be available as a standalone application. SmartRecruiters is SAP’s designated replacement for the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting module. In an Oct 6, 2025 CIO interview, SAP President Daniel Beck said that SuccessFactors users would benefit from SmartRecruiters’ user-friendly interface, AI, and automation functions. Beck also revealed that customers will have 3 to 5 years to complete their migration. Companies that want to take advantage of SmartRecruiters’ enhanced features may prefer to migrate sooner.
SAP SuccessFactors is SAP’s full HCM suite, covering core HR, payroll, performance, and learning. SmartRecruiters is SAP’s talent acquisition product, acquired in September 2025, that replaces only the SuccessFactors Recruiting module. Most companies keep SuccessFactors for core HR and adopt SmartRecruiters for hiring.
